NOX ABATEMENT

Our DEF, a potent 32.5%, 40% or 50% urea plus deionized water in a solution, which is injected into the exhaust streams, where the reagent is converted into ammonia and carbon dioxide through a catalytic reduction reaction. The resulting ammonia then breaks down dangerous NOx emissions produced by diesel engines into harmless nitrogen and water. This process, known as Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR), is essential for meeting stringent vehicle emission standards.
